Everything you need to plan a school's week with EdSkedule, from first launch to a solved, exportable timetable.
This guide is a work in progress — more detail is on the way.
1.Getting started
Install EdSkedule for Windows and sign in with your account. On first launch you'll land on an empty workspace, ready for your school's data.
2.Set up your school data
Before you can build a timetable, add the things it's made of:
- Teachers, rooms and classes — plus the groups they belong to.
- Courses, and the time cells that make up your teaching week.
- Availability and preferences that the solver should respect.
3.Build a timetable
Create a timetable and assign courses and events to classes, teachers and rooms. The editor keeps the week readable so clashes are easy to spot as you go.
4.Solve and export
Hand the week to the solver to find a conflict-free arrangement. Review any reported violations, adjust your constraints, and export the finished timetable when you're happy with it.
5.Accounts & updates
Sign in to manage your subscription, which gates solving. EdSkedule checks for signed updates automatically and verifies each release before installing, so you're always on the latest build.
